Adding a 'Buy Photos' Button to your website
To maximize the use of the online photo store, we want to make sure you're displaying the Buy Photos button in a noticeable location like in your top menu so your guests can easily make their purchase in 1-click! If the Buy Photos button is hidden, in a drop down menu or at the bottom of the website, it makes it hard for guests to find and therefore less likely to convert.
Another crucial aspect of having a button on your website is making sure that the bottom reads "Buy Photos" or "Buy Videos". This way the guest know exactly where to click when they want to purchase your photos!
Your Book Now button should still remain the #1 call to action on your website. Without customers, there are no photo sales. If your ‘Book Now' button is hidden, obviously it'll decrease conversion rates. In the same light, if the ‘Buy Photos' button is hidden, potential sales are being lost
Where can I get the link or code?
- Log into PicThrive
- Click on Stores on the left-hand side
- Click on the Store you want the link for
- Look for the "For Your Website" section.
- The first section is a direct link to your online store. We recommend putting this in you Navigation Menus with the text "Buy Photos"
- The second code section in here is a styled Green "Buy Photos" button
- Alternatively, if you would like us to put the button on for you click the "Add Secret" button. That will let you put in your website credentials so our team can access your site. Be sure to include the link we should login in at.
- All credentials are encrypted and automatically deleted after 20 days.
- Label, Username and Password must be filled out
