Automations make it easy for you to automatically share photo and video content with your guests. By setting up Integrations, we can seamlessly use booking information to ensure your guests receive their memories effortlessly!

Setting up Automations is simple and is done in two easy parts:

  1. Create Album Matching
Album Matching lets you define how albums are matched to specific tours. We need to know which albums to send for each tour. You can create Album Matching by doing the following:
    1. Go to the Automations tab, and click on the "Album Matching" button at the top.
    1. Click "Get Started" and select the tours you want to add Album Matching for, or tell us how tours will be named.
    1. Configure the Album Matching:
      1. You can choose to ignore all albums, match all albums, or automatically create albums for the tour. You also have the ability to set album filters, which tells us how albums will be named for the tour. This filter is partial matching, so for instance, if you set the filter to "adventure", it will match any album name containing the word "adventure", such as "Adventure Trip" or "Family Adventure".
    2. Click the "Save" button to ensure the Album Matching is saved.
  2. Create Rules
Once Album Matching is setup, Rules tell us what to send, and when to send it. This allows us to send guest's content automatically! To get started:
    1. Go to the Automations tab, and click on the "Rules" button at the top.
    1. Specify when guest content should be sent. If you want to send at a fixed time, you can choose the time and number of days after the trip you want to send. Also, if you want to send repeatedly, every certain number of hours, you can specify an interval as well. There is also the option to send content after uploading instead of at a fixed time. With this option, whenever an album is updated (including uploaded to), we will send content to guests automatically. If you don't want it to send immediately after uploading, you can select how long to delay after uploading.
    1. Click "Get Started" to create your first Rule. You can now specify what to send: a presale, link to buy online, or nothing. If there are specific add-ons or tours the Rule is for, you can specify those as well.
    2. Click the "Save" button to ensure the rule is saved.

It is important to know that rules are executed in priority order. This means the rules at the top of the page will be considered before ones lower down. For example, if two rules apply to the same tour, the one higher in the list will take precedence. To reorder rules, you can use the arrow buttons on the right side of a rule to move it up or down in priority.

Note: If an album matches the configured Album Matching, and you choose to send after uploading, you will see the automations icon on the album, indicating that updating or uploading will run automations:

Lastly, you can easily review future or past bookings and see which guests were sent content automatically (or ignored) by visiting the Bookings page. Simply click the "Bookings" button at the top of any Automations page.

With Automations, you can save time and effort by allowing us to automatically send content to guests, through setting up Album Matching and Rules.
