Upload Errors
Very rarely photos/video can fail to upload. Our system automatically tries to fix failed uploads to take care of pesky issues like random internet loss. Occasionally you might need to intervene with a failed upload because:
- The SD card was removed before the file was uploaded.
- The networked hard drive disappeared (i.e. the computer went to sleep) before the file was uploaded.
- An image/video file was corrupted.
- The computer went to sleep: Adjust Computer Sleep Settings
- Uploads going slow. Check out: How do I make my uploads go faster?
When this occurs a red error icon will appear on the Album Card with the error.
- Click the red error icon on the album. It will cause a dialog to appear showing all the files that failed to upload.
- In the dialog that appears you will be able to retry or remove individual files, or apply the same action to all files. Click Retry next to each file to retry the upload. Alternatively, click Remove to remove the bad files.
