Payment Mode
Use Your POS
If you wish for guests to pay for their order at your front desk or counter turn this on. This feature will prompt guests to go to the Front Desk after customizing their order. You will then be able to view and approve their order on the Pending Page.
When using this method, we charge following the "On Site" pricing model. See Plans for details.
In-app Payment
If you wish for customers to pay on the Kiosk, using their credit card, select this option. At checkout, the customer will be prompted to type in their Credit Card information to complete the transaction. After it is completed, the customer will automatically receive their album.
Alternatively, this mode enables the Square Reader and Pay on Phone.
When using the Stripe (card typed in), we charge following the "Online" pricing model. When using Square (card swiped), we charge following the "On Site" pricing model. See Plans for details.
Additional Options
Display Pricing
You can display your pricing on the tablet-based kiosks for guests to view before they checkout. If you have special in-store pricing, that does not match our pricing schemes, we recommend you turn off pricing and display a pricing poster instead.
Pay On Phone
Allows guests to complete their purchase using their phone. This lets them use GPay, Apple Pay or enter their credit card information from the comfort of their own device.
When turned on, along with "In-App Payment" customers will have an choice on how they wish to pay. If they select on phone then they will be presented with a QR code and short link to complete their payment. They will also be SMSed the link if they entered an SMS number on the delivery screen.
Once enabled, a second setting will appear "Pay on Phone Time Limit". To encourage guests to pay while on site and before they leave a time limit is set on their cart. After the time limit expires their cart will be cleared and any instore discount will be removed. By default this time limit is 10 minutes but can be adjusted to be longer if desired.
Pay With Cash
If you are using In-app Payment, some customer may want to pay with cash instead. This option allows a staff member to override the credit card checkout process. By tapping a Pay With Cash button Staff can type in the App's PIN code to override the credit card fields.
Note: This is treated as if the payment is completed with a Gift Card.
Enable Content Sync for Full Albums
Similar to when sending a full album from the workspace (Auto Syncing Entire Album Sends), the tablet can be set to automatically sync guest purchases.
Unlike the Entire Album Sends, this settings is aware of any Pricing Scheme split your team has set between photos and videos. It will only allow syncing of the media content that has reached the "Full Album" tier of your pricing scheme.
Override Default Pricing
Do you have different pricing in-store than online? You can customize your app pricing in your setting and specify a unique pricing plan to display on kiosks. This can be useful if you wish to provide a discount on in-store sales.
- First create a second pricing scheme on the [Pricing](/kb/pricing/pricing) page.
- Toggle on Override Default Pricing in the Kiosk
- From the dropdown that appears, select the name of the pricing you wish to use.
Tap to Pay
Compatibility
If your device supports NFC and is running Android 13 or higher, you can accept contactless card payments directly on the tablet. Guests simply tap their credit card, debit card, or phone (Apple Pay, Google Pay) on the tablet screen to complete their purchase.
This option requires "In-app Payment" to be enabled. If your device does not support NFC, this setting will not appear.
Location
Tap to Pay requires a business address to be set on your Stripe connected account. This is a Stripe requirement for all card-present (in-person) transactions. Location is used for regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and may appear on cardholder statements. The address is pulled automatically from your Stripe account settings, so no additional setup is needed on the kiosk. If your Stripe account does not have a business address configured, a default will be used. To ensure accuracy, verify your business address under Settings → Business details in your Stripe Dashboard.
