Now, when sending an Entire Album you can decide to have your customers purchase sync with any changes you make. By turning on this option, any changes you make to the album's contents will reflect in the customer’s purchase. If you add more photos or videos, or delete a wrong photo, it will now all appear in the customers order. No need to send them a new link!

How to send a purchase that sync with album contents

  1. Like normal, find the album in the workspace and click on “Send”
  2. Select “Entire Album” from What to send.
  3. Enter the customer’s details into the Who to send to section.
  4. In the Customize Purchase section toggle Purchased media will be locked from album changes so that it becomes blue and reads Purchased media will update if the album changes.
  5. Hit send!

How to enable sending this way by default

  1. Click into the Send Settings (Top right of Send Dialog)
  2. Toggle on ""Make Purchased media will update if the album changes" the default when sending an "Entire Album".

Note: This setting is per computer.

FAQ

I updated an album but I don’t see any changes on the purchase!

Be sure to refresh the page of your purchase. Browsers cache a local copy and may not ask the server for any updates. Try “CTRL+R”, or pressing the refresh button on your order.

What am I charged?

The same pricing as per our plans page ( https://picthrive.com/plans/ ). If you send out an photo album you will be charge that rate. If you later add in a video, you will be charged an “upgrade” fee, visible on your billing page. This upgrade fee is the difference between a photo and video package. You will only be charged this if the order is accessed.

How do I check if an purchase is "syncing"?

First, Find Email or Order on the History Page. Next, click "Details". In the dialog that appears look for the text "Media Sync Enabled" next to the photo/video count. If that text is present, this purchase will automatically sync. If it is missing, the purchase will not sync.
