Find a computer's IP Address
Windows
- Go to the windows start menu
- Type
- cmd
- Hit enter
- In the dialog that opens, type
- ipconfig
- Look for the **IPV4 Address . . . . . . . . : 192.168.X.XXX" entry.
- Replace the 'X's with actual numbers
- Some more advanced networks may not have an IP that starts with 192.168.
