How do I refund a customer?

Depending on how a customer purchased their photos/videos, your refund method will change.

Customer paid on your POS

If the customer paid using your POS, booking system or via Cash, then you will be responsible for refunding them.

Customer paid on PicThrive's POS

If the customer paid on the Online Store, or using the in-app Kiosk Payment you can refund them using our application.

  1. Go to Admin on the left-hand-side
  2. Go to Stripe Sales
  3. Find their email and hit the "refund" button next to their email address.

Alternatively, you can refund them by doing the following:

  1. Find their email on the History page
  2. Click the 3 dots to the right of the email entry
  3. Select "Details"
  4. In the Payments section, click the "Refund" button

Refunds will be processed immediately. It may take the customers bank 3-7 days to return them their funds.
